I have been painting for over twenty five years in a variety of mediums but pastel has remained a firm favourite, although my latest experimentation with acrylic has been an exciting challenge. The wonder of colour, both intense and delicate, has always stimulated my senses and charged my creative urges. I owned and ran my own gallery in Melbourne some years ago and have taught art both professionally and privately. Writing is another love and my children's books have been published and distributed in Australia, USA, Europe, North America, India and the United Kingdom. I have entered and sold my paintings at numerous art shows over many years and have won a number of awards. My paintings hang in private collections throughout Australia, Japan, USA, New Zealand and Denmark. Paintings are also displayed and sold at solo and shared exhibitions on a regular basis. I am a member of various art societies, AGRA, and a committee member of the Mitchell Shire Arts & Cultural Advisory Committee, and the Kilmore Art Expo. I feel very fortunate that I am able to create work that others can appreciate and enjoy.
